Dua for Hair Growth in the Quran

Dua for Hair Growth in the Quran

Starting with a small story

To tell you the truth, the condition of my hair was very funny (and a little embarrassing too) a few years ago. In college days, every friend used to call me “Balkrishna” because my hair was thick and long. Dua for Hair Growth in the Quran

But as soon as the responsibilities of life increased–work tension, lack of sleep, and the habit of fast food–my hair started rebelling. Sometimes in the comb, sometimes on the pillow, and sometimes on the tiles of the bathroom, hair was seen everywhere.

At that time, there was only one question in my heart–“O Allah! Why can’t my hair become black and thick again?” Then a friend jokingly said, “Brother, changing shampoo will not do anything, you should also pray.” And to tell you the truth, this line got embedded in my heart.

Relation between Quran and dua

Now consider this: we eat when we are hungry and drink water when we are thirsty. Similarly, just changing oil or shampoo is not enough when the hair is weak or falling. Spiritual solace and prayers are equally important. In the Quran, Allah has given the cure for every disease – be it of body, heart or soul.

There are many prayers and verses available for hair growth which give peace and confidence to the heart. Prayer is not just words, but a means of connecting with Allah.

Islamic view on hair care

Islam places great emphasis on cleanliness and health. It is famous about the Prophet ﷺ that he used to comb his hair and apply perfume. Taking care of hair is not just for beauty, but is also a duty of Sunnah.

If hair is falling, then the solution is not just to run to a doctor or doctor, but hard work along with prayers is also necessary. When we seek help from Allah for the health of our hair by reciting verses and prayers from the Quran, it becomes a part of worship.

Famous Dua for Hair Growth from Quran

Many people recite this verse while reciting the Dua for hair:

“رَبِّ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَعْرِي كَمَا أَصْلَحْتَ لِي خَلْقِي”

(My Lord, make my hair beautiful and strong just like you made my face beautiful.)

This Dua comes straight from the heart. It does not require any big book or any difficult words. You just have to ask Allah with a true heart.

How to recite the Dua?

  • After performing Wudhu, it is preferable to recite the Dua.
  • Raise both hands and recite the verse slowly.
  • After reciting, rub your hands over your hair.
  • And most importantly—believe that Allah is listening.

A little hard work is also necessary

Now I will not say that just by reciting the Dua, the next day your hair will become like a film hero. No, you will have to work hard too.

Use coconut oil, olive oil.

Eat less fast food, drink more water.

Get enough sleep.

That is, along with prayer, medicine and abstinence are also necessary.
