Arabic:
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Hindi pronunciation:
Allahuu laaa ilaaha illaa huwal haiyul qaiyoom, laa ta’khuzuhuu sinatunw wa laa nawm, lahuu maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardh, man zallazii yashfa’u indahuu illaa bi-iznih, ya’lamu maa baina aidiihim wa maafah khalum, wa laa yuhiitoona bishai’im min ilmihi illaa bimaa shaaa, wasi’a kursiyyuhus samaawaati wal ardh, wa laa ya-ooduhuu hifzuhumaa, wa huwal aliyyul aziim.
Benefit:
Hazrat Abu Huraira Razi. It is narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi after every obligatory prayer, only death prevents him from entering Paradise.” (butcher)
Reciting it 3-3 times daily in the morning and evening and at bedtime keeps away jinn, magic and all kinds of dangers from the house.
Four Qul (Surah Kafiroon, Ikhlas, Falak, Nas)
Every night before sleeping, the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to recite these four Surahs and exhale on his hands and move them all over his body. (Bukhari and Muslim)

The three most famous duas in the morning and evening
Dua number 1:
(3 times)
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (3 times)
Meaning: In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on earth can harm him, and He is the All-Hearing and the All-Knowing.
Hadith: Hazrat Aban bin Usman (RA) says that whoever recites this dua three times in the morning and evening, no kind of poison or sudden calamity can reach him. (Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi)
Dua number 2:
(7 times)
Hindi pronunciation: Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa ‘alaihi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul ‘arshil ‘azeem.
Benefit: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that whoever recites this 7 times in the morning and evening, Allah will alleviate all his worries in this world and the Hereafter. (Abu Dawood)
Dua Number 3:
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ (3 times in the evening)
Meaning: I seek refuge in all the words of Allah from the evil of everything He created.
It is mentioned in the Hadith that whoever recites this 3 times in the evening, no poisonous animal can harm him at night.
Dua to leave the house (Most Powerful Protection)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تُوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةُ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Pronunciation: Bismillahi tawakkaltu ‘alallahi wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.
Benefit: The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever leaves his house after reciting this Dua, the angels say – You have been guided, you have been made safe and secure. The devil goes away from him.”
Special duas to protect from evil eye and magic
- Reciting Surah Falak and Nass 7 times to breathe
- Reciting the last two verses of Surah Bakara (Amanar Rasoolu…) daily – The Prophet ﷺ said that it cuts off magic.
- Hazrat Aisha Razi. Narrated: The Prophet ﷺ used to cure the affected person by reciting Surah Falak, Nas, Ikhlas and Muawwizatain.

Every parent should recite this prayer and turn their hands on their child:
عُعِيذُكُ بِكَلِمِتِ اللَّهِ التَّامّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْتَانٍ وَهَامِنٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامِنْ
Pronunciation: U’eezukaa bikalimaatil laahit-taammati min kulli shaytaaninw wa haammatin wa min kulli ‘aynin laammatin.
Meaning: I enclose you under the protection of all the words of Allah from every devil, poisonous animal, and evil eye.
