What is Dua and Wazifa? – A heart-written talk
A few days ago I felt very tired at night. I was not able to sleep, my heart was also feeling a little heavy. The same speaker grandmother had told me – “Son, before sleeping, talk to Allah from your heart, have milk, get peace.”
I thought, grandmother is the right advisor. Dua is like we are telling our heart to our closest friend.
And tell me the truth? That very night when I closed the inline and just prayed from the heart, I also slept deeply and the morning’s universal was also different.
Now you must be thinking – “What is the difference between Dua and Wazifa? Are both the same thing or different?”
So then, it is very easy and contained in heart-touching language.
What is Dua?
Meaning of Dua – Direct talk to Allah.
When you came in front, laughingly said, troubled things or cheerful hand pictures, that is Dua. There is no big book, no difficult words or formula in it.
You can say in your own words –
“O Allah, make my work easy.”
“Give me tickets.”
“Bless my house.”
The biggest joke in Dua is that it can happen anywhere, at any place. The heart should just be true.
What is Wazifa?
Now understand Wazifa like this – it is a special version of Dua.
Meaning, you can do Dua anytime, but Wazifa learns some special words or verses repeatedly, from a fixed date.
Just like doctors say – “This medicine has to be taken three times a day.”
In the same way Wazifa is also a kind of “spiritual medicine”.
People often read Wazifa for some kind of trouble, like shortage of livelihood, difficulty in marriage, illness or burden of heart.
But remember – Wazifa is just a means, the real help is given by Allah.
Dua and Wazifa are just the difference
- Dua: Talking to Allah by giving your heart, like crying and telling your mother.
- Wazifa: Recite some specific verses or prayers in prescribed ways, like an end.
The purpose of both is the same – to get Allah’s help and mercy.
A small tip for you
Next time when your heart is heavy, first pray, like children ask for sweets from their father.
And if you want to get rid of any serious problem, then adopt Wazifa with the help of any aalim or right guidance.
Believe me, when a person prays from the heart, then the push inside him is done. And when Wazifa is also added, then the ray of hope becomes even brighter.
